The Cuman Royal House

of Romania, Moldova and Gagauz Eri

 

The late Princess Aurora, the 51th Great Hane of The Cuman  Romanian and Moldavian Royal House Of Panciu and Komrat, was born in Montreal on 2 August 1921, being the second child of Baron-Lord Ştefan Caba, born im Boian, Bukovina and the Baroness Alexandra Luchian, born in  Basarabia. Ştefan Caba family belongs to the Cuman House of the Horde of Darmans from which remains the Romanian locality of DĂRMANEŞTI and its capital Boian.

She spent her childhood in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She completed Her Secondary education at the LES SOEURS GRISES  Private Secondary boarding School in the town of Saint-Laurent, near Montreal. She also followed secretarial and shorthand courses and finished with a B.S. Diploma.

On 28 October 1951, She married Prince Eugen Eni Han  Caraghiaur of Panciu, in Montreal, in the Romanian Orthodox Church of The Annunciation of which Ştefan Caba was a co-founder. During the Second World War She travelled to Alberta Province where Her brother Trajan was serving as a Major in The Canadian Army.

She gave birth to three children:  Prince Ştefan, Prince George-Iuran, and Princess Josefina Maria Alexandra. During Her entire life Princess Aurora was admired by all of Her friends, because of Her great and noble character, respect for others, faithfulness, sense of justice, hard work and patriotism.

She was a co-Founder of The Romanian Canadian Congress, of The Tele-Romania, of The St-John The Baptist Romanian Orthodox Church, and The First Lady of this Parish. She travelled extensively with Prince Eugen Eni and fought for the liberty and independence of the Romanian and Moldova’s People.

She visited France, England, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Iraq, Monaco and many other Countries.

In 1995 She was struck by a grave sickness. She stoically endured Her sufferings, continued to love Her Family, to suggest, even to travel to Romania, France and Turkey. During the festivities of Her 82 birthday, on 28 October 2001, She was the same Grand Lady. On 27 August 2003 She left Her Family for eternity. GOD BLESS HER!

 Princess Aurora was set in the ground by the Head of The Romanian Orthodox Church’s Archbishop Nicolae of Chicago, accompanied by many priests on 3 of September 2003.

She will be always remembered as The Great Princess of The Cuman Royal Hanal House of Panciu and Komrat.
