of Romania, Moldova and Gagauz Eri

His Royal Highness The Prince of Panciu, George Iuran, of Romania, Moldova, Gagauz Eeri and all the temporary occupied territories, the second child of Their Majesties Ilhan Prince Eugen Eni and late Ilhane Princess Aurora, was born in Montreal, Québec, Canada on 28 January 1956 in the St-Luc Hospital. He was Christianized with the names of George (Romanian) and Iuran (Cuman Gagauz) respecting our long historical traditions.

 

Heir apparent to the Royal Hanal Cuman Romanian, Moldavian and Gagauz Household of Panciu, He received the titles of Prince of Panciu and Prince of Komrat. He also holds the titles of Duke of Chişinău, Count of Montréal,  and  Lord of Ceadîr- Lunga.

 

 

 

He swore to respect and love the Romanian, Moldavian and Gagauz People and follow the U.S.A. and Canada’s Laws in His capacity as a citizen of these Countries. He fully accepts His role as a successor apparent of the Royal Household of The Cuman Hanal Royal House of Panciu.

 

 

 

His education, engineering and business training

 

 

He followed the Primary School level in Montreal North and finished  first of His class. He started the Secondary level at the well-known   BREBEUF College in Montreal. At the age of 16 Prince George Iuran entered The Polytechnic School of Montreal, Faculty of Geology Engineering and, at the age of 20, graduated and received the Diploma of Geological Engineer with MAGNA CUM LAUDAE.

 

He started His career as an Engineer at the Mining Company of Labrador. Soon after, He joined the post-graduation courses in the U.S.A. at the well-known  PENSYLVANIA State University, The Graduate School, Department of Mineral Economics. The Thesis was submitted in Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree of MASTER OF SCIENCE.

 

The Thesis was approved on 3 March 1981 by George H.K.Schenck, Associate Professor of Mineral Economics, Thesis Adviser, by William A.Vogely, Professor and Head of the Department of Mineral Economics and by John E.Tilton, Professor of Mineral Economics.  Prince George Iuran bears the degrees of Geologist Engineer and    Master of Science.

 The TransAlta Utilities Corporation, in Calgary, Alberta, hired Him as an Engineering Geologist. He was, soon after, promoted to the position of Energy Resources Vice-president

 

 

 

He studied in many fields of economics, marketing, energy economy and administration. After an important career in the energy economy field in Florida, as Vice-president of Florida Electrical Power Corporation, He presently works in the position of Energy Department Vice-president of SIMON Corporation who has its Headquarters in Indianapolis, U.S.A.

 

 

During His career He wrote a well-received book in the field of Energy Economy and delivered many speeches in England, Holland, Singapore, Switzerland, Canada, etc.

 

 

He travelled in Europe and many times in Romania. He visited Moldova in 2004 and will continue to give a special attention to His father’s native Land. He shows special interest in all matters related to Romania, Moldova and Gagauz Eeri, beside the main reason of His professional activities in U.S.A.

 

He fluently speaks and perfectly writes French, English, Romanian and Moldavian dialect and is learning the Spanish and Turkish languages.

 

 

 

During His college studies He was a keen sportsman. He was the Head of the Canadian National Water Polo Team who performed outside Canada. He also was a Province of Québec University Students JUDO CHAMPION. He received 14 GOLD MEDALS for His exceptional performances.

 

 

Prince George is a calm, respectful, kind and well- educated person. Like His mother, the Late Princess Aurora, He pleases without any special effort. All comes naturally.

 

On the 25 August 1979 He married Patricia Quesnel, born in Piedmont, Québec, an U.S.A. citizen. Her father was a businessman in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her mother is a member of the Abenakis Native Nation of Quebec. Ilhan Eugen Eni granted Patricia with the title of Baroness of Piedmont.

The couple separated in 2004 for personal reasons.

 

From this marriage  two children were born. The first one, born in Calgary, Alberta, is Prince Philippe-Andrei. The second one,born in Calgary, is Prince Patrick- Ştefan.

 

 

Philippe is studying at a Private secondary school in Indianapolis. He is 18 years old. He is a great musician and a good performer. His ambition is to continue His Grand Father’s social, economic and political goals. He is thinking that a career in Medicine will satisfy His wishes.
